The Society of
Saint Vincent de Paul in the United States is part of an
international, lay Catholic voluntary organization actively
working in over 130 countries with the poor, disadvantaged, and
marginalized. Inspired by our principal founder, Bl.
Frederic Ozanam, we strive to bring the love and peace of Christ
to the those we serve in the spirit of the Gospel message: "I
was hungry and you gave me to eat..." (Mt. 25).
Disaster Aid:
The Society of Saint Vincent de
Paul responds quickly to emergencies such as natural disasters,
war and famine.
SVdP District
Thrift Store:
The Thrift Store provides a useful point of contact with the
public we serve. Stores give us a means to serve the poor,
either by making gently used clothing and household items
available at low cost, or through the Conference voucher system.
Stores provide employment and are a source of additional funds
to the Society.
Serving the Poor:
The Society of Saint Vincent de
Paul has poor boxes in the Parish Church where you can make
donations.
Pantry Hours at Knollwood Dr. and
Mile Stretch Drive (across from Church):
Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 10AM - 1PM
Tel: 727 942 6659
We have a
monthly collection of food from the Parishioners; held on the
1st Weekend of each month (Saturday - Sunday inclusive).
We are always eager to receive new
volunteers!
